The Story
I love colours, and I find it very interesting that some colours are ‘warm’ (red, yellow) and some are 'cool' (blue, purple).
In Italian we say hot colours and cold colours.
One day I borrowed a science book at the library for my sons.
Looking through it, I found an interesting page about the temperature of the stars in the sky that said that a blue star is way hotter than a red star.
Funny because blue is a cool colour, and red is a warm colour.
…and these colours together look very good :)
So I made an artwork called “The temperature of stars”.
I made it by glueing 36 ninja stars to a black canvas.
There are six lines of 6 stars, at the bottom the colour red (the lowest temperature) and at the top the colour blue (highest temperature).
