"Love is Gold" - painted folded paper on painted canvas - 2021 - 100x30 cm (40x12 in)
In 2019 I read a book called "Where did you go" by Christina Rasmussen.
For me it's a magical book, because with the meditations it teaches, I found my late mother and aunt, and I had wonderful, healing visions and mystical experiences.
In one of these meditations, called temple journeys, I found myself inside gold, it was like being inside a piece of solid gold, everywhere I looked, was just gold.
Like if the air was solid gold.
I moved in this gold, and I was in awe, and it was so new and different.
And I asked: what is this? And I received the answer "it's love".
So I came back to my life thinking "Love is Gold", what a beautiful title for an artwork...
The following day I meditated again, and I was flying joyously on a golden wall, with another person, we were like characters from an ancient mosaic.
At that point I had the whole artwork in my head, or intuition.
I was in the flow and I found golden paint in the first shop I thought of.
I made the artwork fast.
Forming curves with lines of black tetrahedrons, like playful trajectories, or footprints in this gold that is love.
Stepping into this gold doesn't form random marks, but beautiful symbols and patterns.
I drew on all the tetrahedrons, I was in the flow, adding symbols to each visible face of the polygons.
